I read some of these other journals and they have like, TONS of readers. Now, I'm not saying that I can't see why they have tons of readers...these people are very witty, and it comes through in their writing. I could only wish I had such a great writing style.
Still...a few more readers would be nice. Sometimes I wonder why I even keep up with this thing. Except for myself, of course. I do like going back and reading past things. But other than that... what?

So, I do have a rant today. I was watching American Idol the other night, and I have to say... they have been SO harsh on the fat girls this year! What the heck?! Now, maybe I just take offense because I am a fat girl, but come on! Can you say- "Double Standard"? Ruben Studdard is a whale! But none of the judges sat there and told him he was, or said he had an image problem. Is that because he's male? Or because he's black? Or both? Big white women can barely get a note out before the judges have already made up their minds that they suck. There was one exception Wednesday night, a girl named Jennifer who has a voice made for singing. She is heavy, and the guest judge Kenny Loggins tells her right away there will be an image problem, and then compares her to Ruben Studdard and Aretha Franklin! Now, Aretha has a kick-ass voice, so it would be a compliment if she were being compared that way. But I think we all knew what he meant. Ugh. I was just disgusted. I hope this girl Jennifer kicks ass...I may even spend the money to call in my votes for her.
