::singing a'la Mister Rogers:: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood a beautiful day for a... NAP!! I am so tired, I am so tired. ::end singing::

My darling little son kept us up almost the whole night with his antics. I was no help though, giggling at all the silly things he was doing, which just egged him on. How can I not though? He's just too cute. And too, I feel bad for him...I'm sure part of the reason he wakes up crying is because of his teething. :( Poor little guy. The third or fourth time during the night when I went in there (this was around 3am), he was standing at the foot of his crib, all smiles when I walked in. He was ready to par-tay! Hello Mamma, let's get the fun going! I couldn't help but smile back...he's just too sweet! So I brought him into our bed when it was clear he wasn't going to be rocked back to sleep (after a diaper change of course- honestly, I never thought I'd be able to function this well during the midnight hours, awoken from a sound sleep...although how "well" I am functioning is probably debatable -anywho!). I was only mildly annoyed when he turned upside down and kicked me the mouth on accident. For the most part he layed there and changed positions about 50 times and babbled up a storm. Oh, and rubbed Jim's back with his feet for a while. That was pretty amusing, and Andy thought it was pretty funny that I was laughing. I was relieved when I glanced at the clock at 4:30am, and he was finally sound asleep. (relieved? at 4:30 in the morning? yah, what a great night of sleep) Let's just say I wasn't quite as amused this morning when I was trying to drag my butt out of bed, hehe. Still though, those moments don't last forever.

We haven't been making as much progess on the house as I had hoped we would be, although we are both still hopeful that we will have it ready by October. Jim is going to become even more of a cleaning Nazi than he already is, I'm sure. These aren't going to be a fun few weeks, ugh. Hopefully it will pay off in the end though. We really want to have the house sold before winter sets in. Say a prayer for us!
